Add participants from a screener to an AI moderated study

If you’ve already found participants in a Dscout screener, you can add them to an AI moderated study without having to screen them again. First, you’ll select this as your recruitment option when creating your study. Then, you’ll select the screener and the participants you want to add from it.

Note: You can only use one recruitment approach per study. So, if you’ve already set up your study to recruit from Dscout’s Scout Panel or to invite your own participants, you won’t be able to add participants from a screener.

To add participants from a screener to an AI moderated study:

Tip: If you only want to add one participant from a screener to your study, click the three-dot icon beside their name in the right sidebar of your screener. Then, click Invite to study and select your study from the list.

When creating your study, select Add from screeners as the recruiting approach.

On the Overview tab of your study, click + Add participants in the left sidebar. A list of screeners in your project is displayed.

Select the screener you want to add participants from. The list of participants for that screener is displayed.

Use the checkboxes in the left sidebar to select the participants you want to add to your study. A list of available actions is displayed at the bottom of the page.

Click Invite to study. An invite modal is displayed.

Select the study you want to add the participants to. Then, click Invite.

Note: If your selected study is launched, participants will automatically receive invites. If your study has yet to launch, participants will receive invites when you launch it.

Now, your selected participants are listed under Participants on the Overview tab of your study. If you want to add participants from multiple screeners, repeat the above steps for each beginning with step two. Once you launch your study, they will automatically receive an email inviting them to participate.

If you want to remove a participant, click the Remove from study (trash) icon in the top right corner of their tile. However, participants can’t be removed from a study once it’s launched.
