From UserTesting to Dscout

Welcome to From UserTesting to Dscout! Learning a new platform can be daunting, so this course is designed specifically to help you transition from UserTesting to Dscout’s flexible, qualitative research ecosystem. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to conducting research, this course will help you translate your existing skills into Dscout’s project-based, media-rich workflows.

In this course, you’ll learn:

  • How to translate your UserTesting vocabulary to Dscout.

  • How you’ll structure and organize research in Dscout.

  • How you can recruit participants in Dscout.

  • How Dscout studies (or missions) compare to UserTesting’s “tests”.

  • How paying participants works in Dscout.

These lessons are meant to be high-level overviews to get you acclimated, not to provide exhaustive Dscout training. (We’ll save that for later!) This course will help you draw connections between what you’re used to in UserTesting and what you can do in Dscout.

Along the way, you’ll find knowledge checks, which you can use to ensure you’ve gotten the most important takeaways from each lesson.

With that out of the way, let’s get started! Use the navigation button below to proceed to your first lesson.
