Now that your Express mission has closed, you may wish to add additional participants and receive additional responses. Alternatively, you may have closed your mission before it reached its n-size and wish to reopen, or you may wish to decrease the n-size you originally set at launch.
Relaunching a closed Express mission to additional participants is now available for missions recruiting from the Dscout pool (Auto-Recruit) within ≤ 2 weeks of the mission close date. In addition to the participant limit, you will also be able to change the Title of your mission if you wish when Relaunching a mission.
Using the Status Dropdown
View the status of your mission in the top right corner. This will display either ‘Launched’, ‘Relaunched’, or ‘Closed’.
To view the status history of your mission, click into the status button in the top right corner. This will display the original launch date, most recent relaunch date (if applicable), and last closed date (if applicable).
If you'd like to view more of the status history, click the ‘View all launch activity’ button to view previous launches including any Launch, Relaunch, and Close date and time and the user who performed this action.
Relaunching Without Quotas in Auto-Recruit
To relaunch a closed Express mission without screener question response quotas (in Auto-Recruit), click the status button in the top right corner of your mission. This will open a status dropdown that will include a ‘Relaunch’ button.
Begin by clicking the ‘Relaunch’ button. This will open the Relaunch modal.
Here, you will be able to adjust the participant number—either increasing or decreasing, unless your mission has already been filled, in which case you will only be able to increase the participant number. You can also change the title of your mission here. As you make adjustments, the modal will display a new incentive total for the mission so you are able to track these changes.
Click ‘Relaunch’ to relaunch your mission once you have made the adjustment to your participant number. You can tell that your mission has been relaunched by the new ‘Relaunched’ status in the top right corner.
Relaunching With Quotas in Recruit
Relaunching a mission with screener question response quotas is similar, but with an additional step. To begin, follow similar steps above by clicking into the status button in the top right corner of your mission, then click the ‘Relaunch’ button to open the Relaunch modal.
The Relaunch modal will look slightly different if you used screener question quotas in the Recruit tab of your mission. In this instance, when increasing or decreasing the Participant Limit, select the ‘Edit quotas’ button.
This will navigate you back to the ‘Recruit’ tab of your mission. Here, you will be able to make adjustments to any response quotas you set in your screening questions so that they add up to the new total Participant Limit. Quotas are unable to go lower than the number already filled.
If you need to abandon your relaunch draft for any reason, you can select the dropdown icon next to the “Relaunch” button and select “Exit relaunch mode,” which will return your mission to a Closed state.
Once you adjust the quotas to equal the new Participant Limit, click ‘Relaunch’ in the upper right corner to reopen the Relaunch modal, and then click ‘Relaunch’.
