Add informed consent to a media survey

To take part in your Dscout study, you can require participants to sign custom informed consent documents before they can begin. When enabled, these documents must be agreed to by all participants, regardless of whether they are part of Dscout's Scout Panel or recruited directly by you (even if you've opted to skip participant sign-up).

To add informed consent documents to a study, you must first work with your Dscout account team to upload your documents into Dscout. For more information, see Custom informed consent.

Once your Dscout account team has added your informed consent documents to your account, you can add them to studies as you build them.

To add informed consent to a study:

1

In the builder, click the Mission settings button in the top-right corner.

2

Select the necessary document from the Informed consent drop-down.

3

Click Save.

Participants will be required to review and sign your custom informed consent before they can take part in the mission. To preview how participants will see your informed consent, view your mission in Test mode. For more information, see Test a media survey.
