Recruitment options in a media survey

Finding the right participants is the key to great research. When conducting media surveys, you have a few options to find just the voices you want to hear.

To recruit for a media survey, you can:

  • Auto-recruit from the Dscout Scout Panel: Build a screener into your study to qualify or disqualify applicants from Dscout’s on-hand Scout Panel. Those who meet your criteria automatically advance to your study. Those who don’t are rejected.

  • Auto-recruit from Dscout's Partner Panels: Build a screener into your study to qualify or disqualify applicants from Dscout’s Partner Panels like Respondent. Participants complete your screener on the relevant third-party platform and are then redirected to Dscout to complete the study if they qualify. For more information, see Auto-recruit from Partner Panels.

  • Recruit from standalone screener: Invite participants you’ve already found using a Dscout screener to your study. For more information, see Add participants from a screener to a media survey.

  • Invite your own participants using a share link: Generate a share link to send to participants you’ve found outside of Dscout.

  • Invite your own participants from Dscout's Private Panels: Add participants to your study from your own Private Panels. For more information, see Participant flow in a media survey.
