# Google Calendar and Meet integration

By connecting Private Panels to your Google account, you can create Google Calendar events for each respondent session, assigning each event its own Google Meet link. This lets you more seamlessly manage your Private Panels studies by bringing reminders and meeting links into the tools you already use.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** The Google Calendar & Meet integration is configured at the user level, meaning each user must set up the integration using their own Google account in order to use it.
{% endhint %}

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Navigate to **User Settings Integrations** in your profile dropdown.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Click **Connect** next to **Google Calendar & Meet**

{% endstep %}

{% step %}
You will be prompted to sign in to your Google account. These are the scopes required:

1. For basic login: <https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email>, <https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile>
2. For Calendar & Meet: <https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar>
   {% endstep %}

{% step %}
After you have successfully signed in to your account, you should see a disconnect button available in <https://app.dscout.com/panels-ui/me>. This will confirm you successfully connected.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Within your study, under **Scheduling Scheduling Settings**, you can set **Global Location** to **Meet**. This will create a unique link for each session that you create for a respondent.

{% endstepper %}

**Note:** Private Panels was previously managed outside of Dscout, so you may see a different logo and URL in some places. If you have any questions, contact <support@dscout.com>.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.dscout.com/private-panels/integrations/private-panels-integrations/google-calendar-and-meet-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
