Set up the Salesforce integration
This guide walks you through setting up the Salesforce integration in your Private Panels account.
Requirements
To set up the Salesforce integration, you'll need:
Your organization's Salesforce domain.
An Admin seat in your Private Panels account.
Set up the integration
You can connect Private Panels to your Salesforce account from the Settings page within Private Panels.
To connect Private Panels to Salesforce:
Navigate to the Settings tab in Private Panels. Then, select Integrations.

Under Salesforce, click Connect. The integration settings modal is displayed.

Enter your Salesforce domain. This domain must start with https:// and end with .my.salesforce.com. In most organizations, the full URL looks like this: https://[yourorganization].my.salesforce.com.

Tip: To find your Salesforce URL, click your avatar on your Salesforce account page. The URL is listed beneath your name. Double-click the URL to select it, then copy it to your clipboard for easy pasting into Private Panels.
Click Connect. You'll be prompted to log in to your Salesforce account. Do so using your regular Salesforce credentials.
Click Allow when prompted to grant Private Panels access to your Salesforce account.

Now, your Private Panels organization is connected to your Salesforce account. You'll see your Salesforce account details displayed on the Integrations page:

You can return to this page to configure what data is synced between Private Panels and Salesforce, or to Disconnect the integration altogether.
Tip: Once you've set up the Salesforce integration, you'll still need to configure what data you want to sync between the two platforms. For more information, see Configure data synchronization in the Salesforce integration.
