# Private Panels Zoom integration

The Private Panels + Zoom integration will enable you to create research calls with unique video links for each respondent.

**Note:** The Zoom integration is configured at the user level, meaning each user must set up the integration using their own Zoom in order to use it.

In your profile dropdown, navigate to **User Settings.**

Scroll down to **Integrations,** and click **Connect** next to **Zoom.** If you already connected, you will see **Disconnect.**

You will be prompted to sign in to your Zoom account. These are the requested scopes:

1. View and manage all user meetings (meeting:write:admin)
2. If your Zoom account is managed by your IT team, they might need to manually approve Zoom being integrated with Private Panels.

Within a **Study**, go to **Scheduling** tab, and scroll down to **Global Location.**

Here, you will be able to set the video call to Zoom and confirm which user the Zoom integration should be using. Note: each invite will include a unique meeting link.

Within a study, click into a participant and schedule a session like normal. The unique link will automatically generate as the session is created.

## View session recordings

After a recorded Zoom session, the recording becomes available in Private Panels automatically. Recordings appear once Zoom finishes processing them, which can take some time depending on the session length.

**Note:** Sessions must be recorded to the **Zoom cloud i**n order to be accessed via Private Panels. Turn on cloud recording in Zoom (or enable automatic cloud recording in your Zoom account settings). **Private Panels does not start recording for you.**

You can find recordings in two places:

* **On a participant's session details:** Look for the **Session Recordings** section.
* **In the study participants list:** In the **Location** column, click **View** next to a Zoom session.

A session can include several files, such as **video, audio, transcript, chat, and closed captions**. Click a file to open it in Zoom, where you can play it and download it (if your Zoom account allows downloads).
