# Set up the Qualtrics integration

This guide walks you through setting up the Qualtrics integration in your Private Panels account.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** The Qualtrics integration is configured at the organization level, meaning it will be available to everyone with access to your Private Panels organization once configured without them needing to set it up themselves.
{% endhint %}

### **Requirements**

**To set up the Qualtrics integration, you'll need:**

* An active Qualtrics subscription.
* The following details about your Qualtrics account:
  * Organization ID.
  * API datacenter ID.
  * API token.
  * UI datacenter ID.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip:** Qualtrics IDs and API tokens are typically only available to users with administrator access to your Qualtrics account. If you don't have this access, partner with the person on your team who does.
{% endhint %}

### Set up the integration

You can connect Private Panels to your Qualtrics account from the **Settings** page within Private Panels.

**To connect Private Panels to Qualtrics:**

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Navigate to the **Settings** tab in Private Panels. Then, select **Integrations**.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/nF7DIAo8z2EW0d2MsroY" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Under **Qualtrics**, click **Connect**. The integration settings modal is displayed.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/fhUAiJ15zPQcvjGTrnEO" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Enter your Qualtrics **Organization ID**, **API Datacenter ID**, and **API Token**.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/6cmJ6trDUDGpREMdi4ro" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** This data lives in the Qualtrics IDs section of your Qualtrics account. For more information, see [Finding Qualtrics IDs](https://www.qualtrics.com/support/integrations/api-integration/finding-qualtrics-ids/) and [Getting started with the Qualtrics API](https://www.qualtrics.com/support/integrations/api-integration/overview).
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Enter your Qualtrics **UI Datacenter ID**.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/DypLxTXVxyXV4xf4tN7T" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** This ID appears in any URL of your Qualtrics account. For example, in the URL `https://qualtricsxmtcgp.pdx1.qualtrics.com/`, the UI Datacenter ID is `pdx1`.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Click **Connect**.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

Now, a confirmation message is displayed and your Private Panels organization is connected to your Qualtrics account.

You'll see your Qualtrics account details displayed on the **Integrations** page:

You can return to this page to **Edit** your Qualtrics details at any time, or to **Disconnect** the integration altogether.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.dscout.com/private-panels/integrations/qualtrics-integration/set-up-the-qualtrics-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
