# Multiple file submissions in screeners

In screeners, the maximum number of files that a respondent can submit simultaneously for each question is 10. To configure this:

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Add a **File Upload** element.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Type question on the textbox.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Click the drop-down field below **Max Files** and select the preferred maximum number of files for simultaneous upload.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

![](/files/295104fdfad88f2a2149edee43e67e725fa27df5)

Respondents can upload files one at a time by clicking **Upload file**, then selecting from the pop-up file explorer. Repeat this process to submit multiple files at the same time. Uploaded files can be deleted by clicking the trash icon beside them.

![](/files/ec7f5728008adac9c20b56e50bc4ceaf2e7c8b85)

To download the submitted files by bulk, follow our [Export survey responses](/private-panels/studies/export-survey-responses.md) guide.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.dscout.com/private-panels/screeners/multiple-file-submissions-in-screeners.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
