Add participants from a screener to a study

If you've used a Dscout screener to recruit participants, you can add those participants to a study when you're ready to hear more from them.

Here are some things to keep in mind when adding participants from a screener to a study.

• Participants added to draft studies will be invited when the study is launched.
• Participants added to launched studies will be invited immediately.
• Partner Panels participants can only be added to one Dscout study.
• Participant cannot be added manually to intercept studies, which recruit based on live behavior.

To add participants from a screener to a study:

Navigate to the Responses tab of your screener.

Select the participants you want to add to a study using the checkboxes beside their names. The bulk action toolbar is displayed.

Click Invite to study in the toolbar. A list of studies within your project is displayed.

Select the study you want to add your participants to. Then, click Invite.

Note: If a participant has already been added to a study, that study is greyed out/unavailable.

(Launched diary and interview studies only) Verify or edit the invite message for your study. Then, click Send x invites.

Note: For diary studies with data translation enabled, you'll be prompted to enter your invite message in both English and your selected language.

Now, your selected participants are added to your study. If you've yet to launch your study, these participants will automatically be invited when you do launch it. If you've already launched your study, the participants will receive invitations to participate immediately.
