Balance can be toggled in the Participants tab of your screener, usability test, or media survey, and can be used to ensure a balanced sample across major demographics (i.e., age, ethnicity, gender). When enabled, samples within each segment cannot exceed 65%.

Once the balance filter has been toggled on, you’ll also be able to click on Customize Ethnicity Balance to further customize your participant pool in screeners.
