When you’re ready to open your study to participants, you’ll launch it from the builder.
To launch your study:
- Open your study in the builder.
-
Click Launch in the bottom right corner. A study summary modal is displayed.
Note: If the Launch button is purple, you have unmet requirements. You must resolve the displayed requirements in order to launch your study. - Confirm the displayed summary of your study. If anything looks wrong, use the Edit buttons to make changes.
- Click Launch mission.
Now, your study is launched—congrats! You’re on your way to getting valuable feedback from participants. For information on what happens next, see the section below.
What happens when I launch my study?
Launching your study results in slightly different behavior depending on your recruitment method:
- Adding participants from a screener or previous study: If you’ve added participants to your study either from a Dscout screener or a previous Dscout study, they’ll automatically receive an email inviting them to the study and to select a time slot. For more information, see Add participants to an interview study.
- Using an interview study webpage: If you’re bringing your own participants using a study webpage, launching your study will activate the webpage. You can now share the webpage link with those you want to invite, and they’ll be able to use it to select a time slot. For more information, see Enable a webpage for an interview study.
