In some cases, you might want to conduct an additional interview session with a given participant as part of the same study. Maybe you ran into technical difficulties the first time around or simply didn’t cover everything you meant to. Regardless of the reason, you can add an additional session from the Manage tab of your study.
To add an additional session for a participant:
- Navigate to the Manage tab of your study.
- Select the participant you want to interview again using the checkbox beside their name. The action toolbar is displayed.
- Click + Add new session in the action toolbar at the top of the participant list. The add new session modal is displayed.
- Enter a message to send to the participant (or confirm the default message displayed).
- Click Confirm and send.
Now, the participant will receive an email requesting they schedule another interview session. If you have a time in mind, click Schedule now and select the date and time. The participant will receive an additional email containing their session details.
The total session count for each participant is displayed at the far right of their row on the Manage tab. You can view all sessions completed by a single participant here or on the Sessions tab of your study. For more information, see View interview session recordings.
