To take part in Dscout studies, all participants agree to our standard Terms & Conditions. However, you can require participants to sign additional documents or give further informed consent before they can begin.
Note: To add informed consent documents to a study, you must first work with your Dscout account team to upload your documents into Dscout. For more information, see Custom informed consent.
Once your Dscout account team has added your informed consent documents to your account, you can add them to studies as you build them.
To add informed consent to a study:
Warning: Informed consent must be added to a study prior to launch. You cannot add informed consent to a study later.
- Navigate to the Setup tab of your mission.
- Under Details, click Specs to display more configuration options.
- Set the Informed consent toggle On.
- Select the necessary document from the drop-down.
- Click Done.
Participants will be required to review and sign your custom informed consent before they can take part in the mission.
